Healing journey: From brokenness to becoming
Sometimes life becomes hell not because we are working hard, but because we are getting nothing out of it. We often forget about the uncertainty of life, and think that “if we work hard, we will achieve everything that we desire”.
I also thought the same and worked hard tirelessly for years. I want to achieve my dreams at any cost. I hold things tightly.
But, in the end I couldn't make it.
I am sure that many of you went through the same. In those times we couldn't understand the importance of transition from broken to becoming through healing.
I am writing this blog to provide insights from my journey of healing. So it can also help others in their difficult times and they could find their transition worthy than mere a process.
After healing, I no longer want to hold things tightly because I found that life is not always about holding things tightly, sometimes we have to treat..life like a river, which will make its own course.
I can't tell you how relieved I feel after healing. Even though I have to start again, it is still worth it.
Transition that I experienced in my journey…
1. COMPLICATIONS TO CLARITY
We often complicate our lives, as we believe more in technicalities than simplicity and become “mountains” in our journey of our healing.
Just soften the grip and see the magic..
Let me tell you about myself since the moment I started my healing journey,I slowly developed a feeling of clarity in my life. I was finally able to release the pressure that built up in the last couple of years.
Now I can tell you that… you just need to take first a step to come out from self made complications to clarity.
So please guys just have faith and take the step to make your life more easier and adventurous. You are here to live not to complicate your life.
2. Suffering to Self discovery
“ The greatest adventure is not exploring the world, but exploring the depth of one's soul”.
We often take a tough path in our lives to show people that we are “something”. This is one of the main causes of our suffering.
Though we have abilities and capabilities to achieve anything in life, we often forget that we are exclusive for ourselves.
We are not here to become “others”. So, we often keep ourselves wounded for our whole life without even realizing.
Self discovery is completely absent from our lives. We just focus on the external reality and neglect the inner realities.
Here, comes the role of healing.which put our gears on the path of self discovery by inner engineering. And forced us to look inward.
Because, healing transforms suffering into self discovery by enhancing our emotional intelligence.
3. FORBIDDEN TO FORGIVENESS
Here, I will tell you my own transitional story. I always believed that hard work paved the way for success.
When I could not achieve my dream. I forbade myself from accepting this fact and I became tough and rude with myself and my dear ones. Forgiveness was not in my dictionary.
But, since I embraced the healing , I chose the freedom that helped me to easily let go of my dreams. And I realized that becoming tough with yourself is nothing but a “self sabotage” which was explained by Brianna Wiest in her book “THE MOUNTAIN IS YOU”.
Once you realize this, your life will be completely different… There is always a way out if you forgive yourself and people around you.
Trust me you will become the best version of yourself.
4.COMPROMISE TO CONTAINMENT
“The path from compromise to contentment is paved with acceptance, gratitude and growth”.
In life we often compromise on many things to live an ideal life. But, we often forget that we are not here to live for hundreds and thousands of years.
We find it difficult to accept hardships in life, forget about gratitude and complain about growth. Then, how can we heal?
However, we frequently heard the stories of successful people who are leaving everything behind and leading a simple life in remote places. Because, they want contentment in their lives.
These are the healed personalities, who practice gratitude and see growth in their mental wellbeing.
Thus, stop compromises in life and start finding contentment.
. This will drive you towards a more adventurous and lively life.
So my request to all of you is that “please live” You got only one life. Follow your passion.
5. Absence to Abundance
“ Abundance begins the moment you stop focusing on scarcity and start recognizing possibilities.”
In life when we see things from the perspective of the absence. And we find nothing meaningful in our lives.
This put us in the complaining mode. We only see the results, not the efforts and learning we are getting from the actions.
Whether it could be in career, relationship and wealth. But, once we shift our gears towards abundance… we will find everything is working in our favour.
This will happen when we start healing by letting go of our failures and setbacks. This is what a “ Positive Mindset” defines.
Healing provides a BIG PICTURE of life. It shifts our focus on the things that we have and the learning we get.
6. Dreams to Drive
“Dreams inspire the heart, but drives move the feet.”
Let me first differentiate between dreams and drive. Dreams could be ours and may be influenced by our near and dear ones or by our ideals. But drive truly comes from our inner self.
Our dreams are more like a duty to us, while drive is a passion to us.
We often confuse ourselves by assuming dreams and drive are the same. But, once we start reflecting on life then only we can understand the difference.
Here, the journey of healing helps us to identify our passion. Because when we heal we not only reflect on life but also get the courage to pursue our passion.
Our transition sometimes gives us mindful life lessons and strengthens our drives.
7. Nature to Nurture
Transition from nature to nurture is nothing but understanding the difference between our limitations and imagination in terms of life.
Limitations means something that is fixed, which is nature. Meaning our thinking abilities… to what extent we go in our lives.
While imagination is nurturing.. Because it blurred the mental boundaries and made us limitless.
This transition also owes to healing, which broadens our horizons about life. And truly makes us have a nurtured personality.
These are the 7 transitions that I experienced through my Own journey of healing.
Healing is not a one time process rather it is a continuous journey , which is further nurtured by learning and awareness.
In the end I just want to tell you that “if one door is closed that doesn't mean the end of life”. That is what I have realized. For me it was satisfying to give up on my dreams, because I considered these years as learning not as a failure… . This is what THE ART OF LETTING GO TAUGHT me.
Also keep in mind that “sometimes things happen not to break us but to make us.”
