  People get aged not because of their age, but because they are carry so much on their shoulders?  People get stressed not because….they have problems but because they carry them forever.  People remain unhappy throughout their life, not because they haven't got any moment of happiness, but because they carry sadness on their shoulders.  People fail in their life not because they are not capable enough, but because they carry ' opinions of others on their shoulders about themselves.  There is so much to interpret the burden we carry on our shoulders that…. is not really worthy to be placed on our shoulders.  But still we carry because sometimes we feel that carrying them will prevent us from falling into the same pit again. Sometimes we carry to show ourselves or to give a face to our struggles.  But we couldn't get the lessons from our struggles or hardships we got in our lives, and we continue to carry the burden.   Remember… why you are h...

Beyond the rain:The life lessons rain teaches to us

Every year the rainy season comes and goes. Each year it transforms the dry grasslands into lush green, endless beautiful grasslands. Rain also transforms the dry deciduous forest into lush green forest. Rain makes the rivers clean, as it clears the stagnant waters in the river course. Rain recharges the ground water that is exhausted. It rejuvenates the seeds that are lying on the earth surface making them grow into big beautiful trees. 

Overall rain provides the opportunity for new beginnings. It does the groundwork to make the world a beautiful place to live. 

But... 

How many of you observe the detailing of rain? despite being too busy in making careers. How many of you learn the lessons that nature is trying to teach us? 

I am pretty sure the generation before us was and is. ..pretty good with nature. There were no digital distractions, there was not that much pressure to build careers and to make money. Because they live simple lives with limited needs.

They observe the minute details of nature and rain and….they understand it very well to see the different weathers of their own life. 

But, today the younger generation is engulfed with the biggest distraction that is the “digital distraction”. This not only distracts their focus but also distances them from nature. As they have countless mountains to conquer, they have to make big balances to enjoy every luxury of life. 

In all of this they become every other person. They lost themselves. They become what the family and society demand, not what they actually are? 

So, this rainy season found yourselves by learning the lessons rain teaches us. Learn how resilience brings growth? How does rain provide the opportunity for growth? How hardships strengthen you? How hardships often end in beautiful destinations? 

Lessons the young ones can learn from the rainy season. … 

1.Summer hits hard before rain

Tropical and subtropical countries witness extreme heat before the mighty rainy season. Heat prepares the grounds for the onset of rainy season. The intensity of the heat intensifies the rainy season. 

Similarly, one has to go through the extreme heat of life to shine like the sun. Nothing comes easy in life. Never fear from hardships in life. Never fear doing hard work. Never turned back to the difficulties in life. Sometimes the sky often becomes dark to bring heavy downpour. The same goes with life. 

Temperature rises to bring rain, hardships rise to bring rewards.

2.Rain provides opportunities to barren land to transform into beautiful landscapes

Rain not only brings water to land, but also brings nutrition from the atmosphere to create a favorable environment for seeds to grow. 

This makes the grass grow on barren lands. Rain transforms the dry forest into lush green. Rain makes the seeds grow into big beautiful trees. Rain provides opportunity to every seed and plant to grow. 

The same goes with life. Hardships not only bring opportunities to grow but also bring new learnings and new experiences. Every hardship in your life provides you the opportunity to grow, to learn, to transform your life into a beautiful and happier life. Without hardships... life will be barren like land or land without rainfall. Thus, growth in life comes from harnessing the opportunities that are coming to us. 

Rain enhances the productivity of land, hardships enhances the productivity of human beings by strengthening them. 

When everything goes wrong in life

3.Rainfall took pause in between

When the water bearing winds stopped coming from the sea or changed their direction, the rainfall took a break despite the rainy season. 

Similarly, while chasing your dreams… remember to take a break to reflect upon yourself. Life is not a race. Sometimes you have to see or analyze that… this is what you actually want? 

Pauses are good; they not only refreshen you but also provide the opportunity to introspect your path and your life. This is how you remain relevant to yourself. This is what makes you.. "You." 

Mindful living in digital age

4.Rainfall during rainy is unpredictable, but rain is certain

Rainfall during rainy season is unpredictable, but rainy season is predictable. In our lives also hardships and problems are unpredictable but success is predictable. Growth is predictable. Hard work never goes to waste, learning never becomes old. Experiences never leave you alone. 

So, be resilient in whatever you do. Failures are inevitable, heartbroken are common but your success is sure and bound to happen. Have faith in yourself. 

5.Rain forces you to look outside the window to enjoy the view. . . . It brings mindfulness

The inescapable view of the rainy season has an immense power to pull us back from the digital screen to enjoy real life experiences. It brings us to the present moment. In the hustle bustle of life we forget the beauty of nature. 

Similarly, we forget to remain mindful or living in the present moment. We not only forget to enjoy small moments of happiness, rather develop mental issues.

So, be in the present moment in life. This is the key to your happiness. Life is not only about hustling but also enjoying. There is so much to be grateful for.

 This monsoon, leave your phone behind and enjoy the present moment with beautiful rain.

6.Rainy days follows beautiful and clear mornings

During rainy season darker skies are way common, as it brings rainfall. But the beautiful thing is the mornings, where the sun shines brighter than usual and the sky looks like a blue bedsheet that is spreading every length and breadth of it. 

Darkness in our lives also leads us into beautiful destinations. Every dark night in our lives ends with beautiful sunlight. So, never lose hope in life. Do what you are supposed to do. Trust the timing of your life. Nothing lasts forever. 

When you lose hope or when it is getting tiring.. Remember your sunshine awaits you as you wait for it.

7.Rainy season comes every year… to restart again

The rainy season repeats itself every year. Each year it comes with the same enthusiasm, same energy. It again starts the cycle of rebuilding for …what is broken in winters and summers. 

Same thing it taught to us. Let go of what is gone. Stand up again, start again. It is never too late in life to fix anything. You get ample opportunities in life to restart again. Don't hold something for long. Life comes with greater opportunities to change it, to move forward to start again. 

Takeaways

Darker the clouds, heavier the rain, deeper the hardships, brighter the life. 

Monsoon transforms seeds into plants and plants into trees. Hardships transform a boy into a man and a newbie into master.
